David Resnick is a native Iowan. He and his wife, Mimi, have four children, ages 25 to 14. The Resnicks have lived
in Dubuque for twenty-three years and currently live in the Langworthy Historic Neighborhood. Since 1993, David has been
on the Fine Arts faculty of Clarke College in Dubuque. Clarke's BVM core values of Freedom, Education, Charity, and Justice
continue to inspire him. During his tenure, David has held many leadership positions at the college and has been selected
as a presenter for the prestigious Mackin-Mailander series.
David holds a Master of Music Education degree from Northern Illinois
University and a Permanent Professional teaching certificate from the State of Iowa.
David has been involved in a broad spectrum of community organizations
including the Dubuque Arts Council, Dubuque Chamber of Commerce, the Langworthy Neighborhood Association, and the Grand Opera
House. He is also a member of many professional and musical performance organizations. David and his family are members
of Nativity Parish.
